Product questions 

Q: Where are The Loving Nature products made?
A: All of our products are freshly handmade by us in our small workshop in Pembrokeshire, Wales to a 100% natural recipe using only the best and purest ingredients we can source.

Q: Are your products vegan-friendly?
A: Yes, our products are suitable for Vegans unless ingredients include beeswax.

Q: Do your products contain Certified Organic ingredients?
A: Our products contain no synthetic chemicals and use 100% natural ingredients. Wherever possible we choose certified organic ingredients. These ingredients are marked with an asterisk (*) in the ingredient list of each product.

Q: Do you test the products on animals?
A: No, The Loving Nature never has and never will test products on animals or buy ingredients from suppliers who do this.

Q: Do you use fragrance oils or essential oils?
A: Our products are made using only the very purest essential oils. We would never use fragrance. Also, wherever possible we use certified organic essential oils.

Q: Are you using any GMO ingredients?
A: No, we do not use GMO ingredients in any of our products. We make sure to request from our suppliers, documentation and proof that ALL of our ingredients were produced without the use of genetically modified organisms. Using certified organic ingredients, wherever possible, any company or individual can lower the exposure to GMO’s.

Q: Do your products contain Palm Oil?
A: No, we don’t use any Palm Oil in our products.

Q: How does the cream deodorant work?
The main task of this product is to neutralise the bad smell without using any harsh synthetic chemicals (artificial fragrance, parabens, alcohol or aluminium). We use only the highest quality, ethically sourced, natural and organic certified ingredients. These ingredients contain antibacterial ingredients that prevent odour causing bacteria from forming.

Q: What is the difference between your deodorant and a traditional one?
A: Our deodorants are 100% natural. They do not contain any parabens, aluminium salts or compounds, perfume or fragrance oils, propylene glycol, triclosan, sulphates or other harmful synthetic chemicals – ingredients commonly found in regular deodorants and antiperspirants. Our deodorants use natural ingredients to eliminate odour causing bacteria and ensure your underarm skin stays fresh all day.

Q: How do I use the deodorant?
A: Scrape out a pea-sized amount from the jar using a spatula or your fingernail and gently massage it into your skin. Keep it on the back of your hand or even directly on your armpit area for a few seconds and it will nicely melt allowing you to massage it into your skin gently. A little goes a long way so don’t apply too much. You will know exactly how much you need after a couple of applications. Always wash the underarm area before re-applying.

Q: Is it safe to use if pregnant?
A: A woman’s skin becomes extra-sensitive to many substances during pregnancy. Our products are safe for second and third trimester use. Some oils may cause sensitivity during pregnancy. For a full listing of pregnancy-safe essential oils, please visit this link or consult your doctor.

Q: How do I store the deodorant?
A: Please store it in the original jar in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight. Also, make sure to place the lid back on between applications to preserve the lovely scent and freshness.

Q: How are your products packaged and posted?
A: Our products contain high concentrations of natural active ingredients, and we package them either in aluminium recipients, glass or PET plastic. This is to preserve their integrity and also, there is no leaching of plastic toxins that usually occurs with cheap plastics. PET plastic does NOT contain PVC, heavy metals or Bisphenol-A. We send all our products in recyclable ‘Green Jiffy Bags’. These have a natural, 100% recycled, paper fibre lining; therefore they are an Eco-Friendly alternative.

Q: What should I do if the product consistency changes?

A: Sometimes, quite rarely, the active ingredients can partially melt or separate. That could happen because we don’t use any binding agents, chemical hardeners, preservatives or liquefiers in our products. It also depends on several external factors like temperature, handling and storage, etc. That is absolutely normal and natural.

If excessive melting occurs thoroughly stir the mixture then place it in the fridge for a short time until it hardens back. Your deodorant is still okay to use and will offer the same level of protection!

Q: Since you don’t use preservatives, how long do your products last?
A: After opening, all products should be used within 12 months for maximum effect. With daily use, a full-size jar (50ml or 100ml) should last from 3 to 6 months depending on usage. The 10ml sample jar can even last up to 3-4 weeks. A little goes a long way so don’t apply too much.

Q: My skin was irritated by your deodorant cream / I noticed a slight skin rash. Why is that?

A: Some people have sensitive skin that can react to sodium bicarbonate deodorants. Please do a small 24-hour patch test behind the ear or inside elbow, if you have any concerns. Even with 100% natural products, some skin types can become irritated so it is often down to whether a person can tolerate sodium bicarbonate or not. This mineral has highly effective natural antibacterial properties and many benefits for your health.

Because sodium bicarbonate is slightly alkaline, it can, for some people, cause redness by affecting their skin pH. We would suggest aiding the detoxification and balancing the skin pH process by rubbing raw organic apple cider vinegar (with the ‘Mother’) or fresh lemon juice on your pits and patiently continue use. Many of our customers reported this procedure as being highly effective.

Q: Can I apply the deodorant after shaving?
A: We do not recommend to be used on broken, irritated skin and straight after shaving. We recommend you to shave at night and apply it in the morning.

Q: I have a nut allergy, can I use your cream deodorant?
A: As one of the ingredients in our deodorant is coconut oil we recommend speaking to your doctor before using. The coconut is a member of the palm family and is only a distant relative to the tree nut. The botanical distance between coconuts and tree nuts would suggest that people with tree nut allergies could tolerate coconut, but we recommend asking your doctor or conduct your research on this before using our deodorant.

Q: Is your deodorant an antiperspirant/sweat blocker?
A: Our deodorant is not an antiperspirant. Your body will continue to sweat and get rid of harmful toxins but without the bad smell. Many customers reported that over time they sweat significantly less and this could be due to allowing their body to regulate sweat production without blocking the pores.

Q: I noticed on the ingredient list Benzyl Benzoate, Eugenol, Limonene etc. Aren’t these ingredients actually parabens or artificial preservatives?
A: For all products made in the EU, the rules require a product listing to also include a list of possible skin irritants or allergens at the end of the listing.
Examples of these components are Geraniol, Limonene, Citronellol, Eugenol and Benzyl Benzoate which are naturally occurring components of essential oils.

For instance, Benzyl Benzoate occurs naturally in Jasmine Oil and Ylang-Ylang Oil. Limonene, Geraniol and Citronellol are natural components of Rose Oil and Eugenol is a big part of Clove Oil. We will never use synthetic chemicals in our products!

Ordering and Shipping

Q: Where can I buy?
A: You can find and order our products here on this website, or via our ebay or Etsy shop. You can also purchase our products from our stockists.

Q: I cannot complete my order. What do I need to do? 
A: Firstly, check you have filled in all required fields on the checkout page. If you still are unable to place your order then contact us, explaining the problem. Our Customer Service advisors will help you sort it out straight away!

Q: How much does shipping cost?
A: We currently offer free delivery on all our United Kingdom orders for absolutely everything you will buy. Same day dispatch if payment is received before 1 pm!

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: We certainly do, and we do it at the lowest rates possible! The parcels usually arrive in 3 to 7 days. Add your items to the basket and head to the checkout to find out your shipping costs.

Q: How will you confirm my order? 
A: Once you have completed your transaction we’ll send you an email to confirm it. When it ships, you will receive a shipping notification. If for any reason you do not receive this emails, please check your spam and junk mail folders or contact us for assistance.

Q: My order has not arrived! What can you do?
A: If your order hasn’t arrived within ten days it’s essential that you contact us straight away. Send us a message via the contact form with your order number, and we will be able to check the status of your delivery.

Q: What if I miss the delivery and I don’t collect my parcel from the local depot in time (parcel returned to sender)?
A: When this happens we will refund the order costs (minus the outbound shipping) once we have received the parcel back.

Q: What method of payment can I use?
A: You can securely pay for purchases using your PayPal or Amazon account or by using a Debit/Credit Card.

Q: I want to return my order.
A: Our policy lasts 30 days from the date of purchase. If for any reason you change your mind regarding your purchase, you are eligible for a return. More details here.

Q: How can I earn The Loving Nature loyalty reward points?

A: Check out all these simple ways you can earn points:

  1. Earn 200 loyalty points when you register an account with us – simply create an account with The Loving Nature and 200 loyalty points will automatically be credited to your new account and can be used on your next purchase(s).
  2. Earn 100 loyalty points after completing your first order – points are automatically credited to your account after completing the first order and can be redeemed against any future order(s).
  3. Earn points buying our products1 point = £0.01 and 10 points can be earned for every pound spent; points will be shown on the respective product pages.

Q: How do I use/redeem my loyalty points?

A: You can easily redeem your points from your account dashboard (My Account -> My Loyalty Points -> Redeem Loyalty Points).

  • No minimum points are needed for redemption
  • You can easily redeem your points at any time
  • No minimum spend necessary to accumulate points for an order
  • You can’t use points in conjunction with other discount codes
  • Points can’t be converted into cash or transferred between accounts
  • Points will be adjusted for any returned items

Affiliate Programme

Q: How can I register for your affiliate program?
A: All you have to do is to use our registration form and fill in your details. Once we confirm your account, you will get your unique affiliate ID and gain access to your dashboard.

Q: Do I get my unique affiliate URL?
A: Yes, you get a unique affiliate link that you can immediately use. Add this link to your website, outgoing emails, or even on your social media profiles (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.)

Q: How do I get paid my commissions?
A: Payments are made monthly through PayPal using the payment email address provided by you during the registration step. You can also choose Direct Bank Transfer/BACS (contact us after registration if you prefer this method).

Referred transactions will be settled every month. For example: If you make sales in March, your commission will be paid in April, giving us a full month to reconcile each of March sales.

Q: Can I use my unique affiliate link for Offline Promotion?
A: Yes, you can use your affiliate link to promote our products both online and offline, as long as it is within our affiliate terms and conditions. Materials such as offline flyers, cards, or mailers can be great ideas for offline marketing campaigns.

Note: All these promotional materials can be used for offline marketing campaigns only after the designs have been submitted to us for approval. In some cases, we can provide the designs to the affiliate.
