Indications
- Tension-type headache (pain on both sides of your head) is the most common headache triggered by stress, tiredness, dehydration, or loud noises. Our headache balm is here to help – the natural way!
- Headaches can also be caused by poor blood flow. Peppermint oil used in our balm has vasodilating properties that help increase blood flow, relax blood vessels, and reduce the intensity of headaches. Peppermint is also a great natural pain killer and a natural muscle relaxant, which stops muscle contractions and helps eliminate headaches.
- Eucalyptus has medicinal properties and a powerful, earthy fragrance that helps with focus and grounding. Its healing, antiseptic, and antibacterial properties make it ideal for aches, pains, minor wounds, cuts, and scrapes.
- Frankincense oil helps boost the immune system, improve sleep, reduce stress, decrease inflammation and pain, and balance hormones. Hormonal imbalances are a common trigger of headaches in women during PMS and menopause.
- Roman Chamomile oil is excellent for promoting a sense of calm and relaxation and is particularly helpful in treating stress-related tension headaches. It has analgesic properties, which can help to reduce the pain of a headache.
- Lavender oil helps ease stress and soothe headache pain. It helps improve blood circulation, calms stress and tension and reduces inflammation. Its calming properties are excellent for assisting in stopping tension headaches, and it’s said to be the best essential oil for treating allergy-triggered headaches.
There are two main types of headaches – primary and secondary. Primary headaches such as tension headache, cluster headache and migraine constitute nearly 98% of all headaches. Our headache balm can help manage primary (mild to moderate) headaches. Underlying medical conditions are the cause of secondary headaches. It is essential to consult your healthcare provider if you experience severe headaches and other symptoms.
Symptoms that could indicate a more severe headache can include:
- Worst headache ever experienced, or a new type of headache
- Children experiencing frequent headaches
- Headaches that start early in the morning
- A headache that occurs after a head injury.
- Pain that gets worse when you strain, like when you cough or sneeze.
- A headache that is gradually worsening or persistent.
Directions
- Take a small amount of balm on your fingertips and apply it to your temples using gentle circular motions.
- Apply the balm to your forehead and massage it in.
- Apply to the back of the neck by gently pulling your fingers from the centre of the neck to the sides.
- Relax in a quiet, comfortable space.
- Reapply if necessary, following the same process.

This was purchased for an August birthday. The company are easy to deal even when you make an error on ordering they correct it without any problems.
This is a high quality product, made with natural ingredients to produce a beautiful soft balm. However, as a chronic migraine sufferer, I do not find the cooling effect strong enough on my skin, which was disappointing. However, the balm is so luxurious, I will continue to use it as a general purpose moisturiser, and will certainly consider using this small, family run company again, either for other balms, or if they produce any new headache relief products. The service was excellent.
Hi Anne, thank you so much for your kind words and for sharing your experience. We’re really glad you enjoyed the quality and texture of the balm, and it means a lot that you’d consider trying other products from our range.
We also truly appreciate your honest feedback. Everyone’s experience can vary, especially with chronic migraines, so we understand it may not work the same for everyone.
Try applying a small amount to your temples and gently massaging in slow circles for about 30 to 60 seconds. Some people also like to apply light pressure to the space between the thumb and index finger for a minute on each hand, and even massage the base of the skull, where a lot of tension tends to build.
We also recommend using the balm as part of a broader, holistic approach. Supporting factors like hydration, good sleep, stress management, and regular routines can often play an important role alongside topical products.
Thank you again for supporting our small family business. It truly means a lot to us. Warm wishes, Julian
I love this, it smells lovely, and the massage I give my head feels much nicer
Great item
I brought this nature balm for long term headaches & neuralgia nerve pain. I have a lot of allergies to medication and after looking for something natural I found this balm, it smells lovely and its easy to apply.
I started to use it each morning and at bedtime and was amazed, as for the last 4 days I have been pain free.
Thank you very much for making this. I have recommended to friends and family.
Also great service.
